Hematite, the old English spelling is Haematite, is an Iron and is a great grounding stone. It helps to transmute negative energy into positive. Place a piece of Hematite at the corners of your crystal grid so energies in the room don't mix with your intention and grid. Place them at the corners of your Reiki table to help keep the client's energies from mixing into your environment and vice versa.

Hematite is a strong of strength, fortitude and stamina, it helps us to regain and strengthen our self-confidence and enhances our will power. Hematite resonates with the Root chakra.

Rutilated can come in a silver, black, red or golden colour. Sometimes called Angel Hair, Rutile can feel like small pinpoints, like an electric charge when held. It can be used for quick manifestation. In crystal healing and body layouts it works wonderfully well at the navel chakra.

Rutile is very energetic and can feel like little pin pricks of electricity passing into your hands. Especially potent placed at the navel. It activates a flow of creativity at the Sacral chakra and pulls it up into the Solar Plexus chakra to manifest into being. Because of this electrical energy, Rutile is a powerful amplifier of your thoughts. This energy allows your thoughts to connect with the Divine Mind to receive celestial wisdom and creativity. How this would work is, keep your intention of what you want to manifest in your mind and hold or place on your navel a piece of Rutile or Rutilated Quartz. This amplifies your intentional thought to the Universe. Alternatively, place a piece over your intention in a grid or wear as a ring or pendant to broadcast your intention to the Universe wherever you go.
