Rare Chiastolite, also called Cross Stone, is a variety of Andalusite which has a cross shaped inclusion of Graphite and Carbon. While the cross shape runs through the whole gem, it can only be seen when cut. Most pieces have a black cross dividing the deep brown stone into 4 sections, however there are some that have more sections, are a light cream and look like a flower.

Chiastolite is a very strong psychic protection stone. Its vibration helps to transmute negative energy to positive.
