The Lion's Gate is a portal for increased ascension and big shifts on all levels. This is a time when manifesting is huge, most especially on August 8. Using the time of the portal to manifest can increase your efforts and keep the energy going until they happen.
The Lion's Gate Portal happens every year from approximately July 26 to August 12 with the peak being August 8 (8/8). It starts with the rising of Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, on the eastern horizon just before the Sun. In astrology, this is the time of Leo, Child of the Sun, who rules the heart, is filled with pride, generosity, purpose and expressing life and vitality.
Sirius is a legendary star known for showering wealth, devotion, love, honour, passion and creativity. When Sirius rose it was synonymous with the rising of the Nile river in Egypt which, in turn, fed the crops which fed the people, sustaining life. This is abundance on its most basic level.

Through this time, letting go of what is out of balance is the key to peace and success. The vibration of the number 8 is financial security, organization, achievement and ambition.
The Lion’s Gate is a vortex of powerful energy and should be used with conscious, positive intent for the highest good of all involved. To manifest during this time, use statements like, I CLAIM financial abundance; or I CLAIM my romantic partner; or I CLAIM success in business, etc. By saying I CLAIM, you are indicating that you are ready to step up and accept this energy in your life, that you truly want it with no blocks, hesitations or second guessing.
