Some people mistake Charoite for Sugilite and the other way around. Sugilite is from South Africa and Charoite is from Russia. Charoite looks like little blades of purple which swirl throughout the crystal. It has a natural chatoyancy to it where the light plays with it when moved.
Charoite is a wonderful stone to work with for love, life and emotional healing. It helps us learn the lessons we need to feel balanced in body, mind and spirit. In crystal healing, it helps to open and heal the heart.
On the 3rd eye, it will open and enhance intuition and help relieve headaches and migraines.
The black inclusion is Aegirine which helps to cut out negativity. I love the pieces that are like little wands or blades. These you can use with cutting motions above the area where negativity is being held in the body. With an Aegirine crystal, place on the area and leave for about 20 minutes at a time to dissolve the negativity.
