A crystal for the 3rd Eye chakra, Azurite helps to unblock and enhance intuitive abilities. Keep a piece by you when doing readings or hold when meditating to enhance your experience. Azurite can also used for the Throat chakra to clear blocks helping to speak your truth.

Azurite is a deep blue stone that sometimes forms as crystals, but is more often seen as a rough stone. It grows in copper mines along with Ajoite, Chrysocolla, Cuprite, Dioptase, Malachite, Shattukite and Turquoise.

Azurite is a stone of the mind, helping with retaining knowledge and clear thinking, opening the mind to new ways of thinking and new possibilities. It would be a good crystal to keep with you when you are learning something new, going to school, taking a course or learning a new job.

In crystal healing, place a piece on the 3rd eye and/or the Throat chakra to unblock, balance and open. While Azurite works best with these two chakras it is not limited to them and can be placed where it feels appropriate.
